Opening Benidiction and Celebration! You are welcome as we celebrate the renovation and move to a new location. Aikido Montreux, Sunyata Yoga and the Conscious Practice Institute have made a new home at Rue Industrielle 22bis. After many months of work, we are ready to present our new school to the public with a teaching event offered by the Venerable Tenzin Lodoe, monk from the Rabten monastery, on the subject of Sunyata, the nature of Emptiness.
Following the teaching we will present a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony done by the director of the school, Patrick Cassidy.
After sharing the ceremony, we will witness a benediction, or puja ceremony offered by the monks from Rabten Monastery.
To finish, the students and teachers will present the arts of Aikido and Yoga in a demonstration for the guests.
We will celebrate the day with a reception for everyone at the end of the day. Everyone is welcome to join us for this important event.
Event starts at 11:00 and finishes at 15:00.
